Body found in O.C. car ID'd as former Marine

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. Coroner's officials say the victim was 59-year-old James Michael Purcey, a former Marine. Purcey was found May 31 in a condominium complex on the 16900 block of Algonquin Street in Huntington Beach.

Firefighters discovered the body after they put out the /*fire*/. The body had been burned beyond recognition.

Authorities said Purcey was a Vietnam veteran who had published a book that questions the government titled "Am I The Only American Who Thinks This Way?"
