Los Angeles prosecutors have filed seven additional charges against a man suspected of making illegal weapons in his downtown loft.In addition to the weapons charges, Brian Alexik, 34, is now accused of several narcotics offenses and forging money.

Alexik pleaded not guilty to the new charges. He is being held on $1-million bail.

In April, he evaded police by fleeing down a fire escape from his penthouse loft on West Olympic Boulevard.

Inside, authorities found counterfeiting equipment, freshly printed $100 bills and a giant mosaic replica of the CIA seal.

Police also found a pair of high-powered binoculars and a tripod by the rear window which had a direct view of a neighboring federal building.

Authorities caught up with him after investigating a noxious smell coming from his loft.
