"It appears the victim died as a result of an assault," police said in a statement at the time of her death.
Friday, Santa Monica police announced the arrests of 44-year old Kelly Soo Park and 34-year-old Ronnie Wayne Case. Park and Case, both of whom are from Camarillo, are facing charges of murder with special circumstances and conspiracy.
The /*Santa Monica Police Department*/ say detectives worked thousands of hours on the case along with law enforcement from Torrance, Oxnard and the /*FBI*/.
"The Santa Monica Police Department is continuing to investigate this crime and there is the possibility of additional arrests," said Santa Monica Police Sgt. Jay Trisler.
So far, police have not speculated on a possible motive for the murder. Redding had moved to Santa Monica from Tucson, Ariz. to pursue a modeling and acting career.
