Artists are lining Pasadena's Colorado Boulevard Father's Day weekend to use the sidewalk as their canvas. It's the 18th Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival.

The two-day event brings together about 600 Southern California artists, who are using 25,000 sticks of pastel chalk to create life-size murals on the city pavement.

The artists will attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest display of chalk pavement.

Proceeds will benefit the community arts programs of the Light Bringer Project.
