Infant's death under investigation in Adelanto

ADELANTO, Calif. Deputies from the Adelanto Station were called to a home in the 11200 block of Lee Avenue on Sunday just after 9 a.m. The 1-month-old Violet Villalobos was not breathing and was rushed to Victor Valley Community Hospital, where she died.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death. Adelanto detectives are concerned with the circumstances of the death and have requested the assistance of San Bernardino County Sheriff's Homicide Detail.
