Richie was not present in court Tuesday when the order was made. The celebrity now has until February to finish the courses.
The former "Simple Life" star was arrested in December of 2006 after driving the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank.
Richie pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge and spent 82 minutes in jail.
