Suspects sought for 2 Garden Grove robberies

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. The most recent incident occurred on June 29 when the two suspects entered a home in the 10500 block of Woodbury Road after telling the residents they were police officers. The suspects bound the victims, a Vietnamese woman and an 11-year-old boy, with plastic ties.

The suspects used the juvenile to translate their demands into Vietnamese.

The residence was ransacked and an unknown amount of jewelry and cash were stolen. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction. The victims were not injured and the suspects never brandished any weapons.

Investigators believe the suspects were also involved in a similar robbery that happened June 16 on the 9500 block of Belfast Drive, also in /*Garden Grove*/. In that robbery, the suspects also told the victims they were law enforcement, bound the victims and stole cash and jewelry.
