Car hits water-main valve in North Hills

NORTH HILLS, Calif. The accident was reported at 1:27 a.m., leaving a watery mess at /*Sepulveda Boulevard*/ and Tupper Street. The valve was in the center divider of the street.

The driver managed to escape as the force of the water pummeled the car, shooting water up through the floorboards of the car. The driver then promptly disappeared.

A /*Department of Water and Power*/ crew has since managed to shut off the water.
