Shopaholic fills 6,000-sq-ft home w/ clothes

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa For Diane Hagarty, shopping was a powerful drug. She has hundreds of shoes, purses and dresses, some with the tags still attached.

Her husband Bob says the shopping never put them in debt, so he just let her shop.

"I'm sitting here saying to myself why didn't my husband put his foot down and say you still have clothes with the tags on them. You don't need any more shoes or clothes," Hagarty said.

All of that ended a few weeks ago when these empty-nesters ran out of places to put her stuff in their 6,000-square-foot home.

Hagarty says there's so much stuff to get rid of that she'll probably have to have at least two garage sales.
