Reducing your meat intake may help you lose weight, according to a study out of London.Nearly 400,000 people took part in the experiment, and experts found that eating meat was associated with weight gain, even when subjects consumed the same amount of calories.

Processed meats like ham and sausages had the strongest link with weight gain.

Researchers say these findings suggest that high-protein diets may not help people lose or control weight in the long run.
