San Bernardino Police arrested 21 people at a weekend rave for felony drug-related offenses. There were also a several misdemeanor arrests and citations issued by officers.

Fifteen people were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening issues.

The event, called "Audiotistic," was held at the National Orange Show Events Center from 6 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday. Police estimate that about 25,000 people attended the massive dance party.

Last month, a teenage girl died of a suspected drug overdose following an outdoor rave at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which was hosted by the same promoter.

In the weeks leading up to the event, the San Bernardino Police Department held meetings with the promoter to figure out ways to make it more safe. The promoter agreed to set a minimum age requirement of 18 and had security guards check identification at the gate.

The promoter also agreed to reimburse the city for use of San Bernardino Police officers.
