Dozens arrested at San Bernardino rave

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif There were also a several misdemeanor arrests and citations issued by officers.

Fifteen people were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening issues.

The event, called "/*Audiotistic*/," was held at the /*National Orange Show Events Center*/ from 6 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday. Police estimate that about 25,000 people attended the massive dance party.

Last month, a teenage girl died of a suspected drug overdose following an outdoor rave at the /*Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum*/, which was hosted by the same promoter.

In the weeks leading up to the event, the /*San Bernardino Police Department*/ held meetings with the promoter to figure out ways to make it more safe. The promoter agreed to set a minimum age requirement of 18 and had security guards check identification at the gate.

The promoter also agreed to reimburse the city for use of San Bernardino Police officers.
