Authorities said the bus was traveling northbound on Hill Street, and the truck was traveling eastbound on Temple Street when they collided. The bus went on to crash into a traffic pole and then into a gate.
Nine people were taken to the hospital, and the driver of the truck was also transported. All of the injuries were minor.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined. Police said both drivers said they had the green light. Anyone with information is urged to call the /*LAPD*/ Central Traffic Station at (213) 972-2445.
