The /*San Bernardino Sheriff's Department*/ said the incident began with an argument in the street.
The argument then escalated into a fight during which someone pulled out a knife and began stabbing people.
Investigators said one victim is hospitalized in serious condition. The other four suffered minor injuries.
Authorities are still trying to determine who did the stabbing, but they said everyone involved remained at the scene.
