Wildfire burning near Camp Pendleton contained

CLEVELAND NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. The blaze charred about six acres of the /*Cleveland National Forest*/.

It was reported at 4:50 p.m. at Tenaja Road and Forest Route. Forest officials said they responded quickly and were out in full force.

They said some private homes were threatened, but none were expected to be lost in the fire.

Fire officials said fire crews will work through the night, and the fire is expected to be fully extinguished sometime Sunday.
