Zsa Zsa Gabor said to be doing better

LOS ANGELES Publicist John Blanchette said the 93-year-old actress has been "eating a little" and she even poked fun at her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt for his now-defunct gubernatorial campaign.

Gabor's doctor checked out her hip replacement Tuesday and said it appears to be healing well.

"She is sleeping a lot," Blanchette said.

She is scheduled to see a doctor in about 10 days to check on her liver, because of all the antibiotics she has been taking.

Gabor fell out of bed and broke her hip July 17. She underwent hip- replacement surgery two days later and, after some ups and downs, was released last Wednesday. But she was taken back to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Friday to get multiple blood clots removed from her upper body, one of which was very close to her heart.

Gabor received her last rites on Sunday. The following day doctors wanted to perform some type of procedure on her liver, but Gabor declined and returned to her Bel Air estate.
