Police seeking suspects in armed robbery

VICTORVILLE, Calif. The /*Victorville Police Department*/ received a call just before 7:30 a.m. about a robbery at the Subway restaurant on Hook Boulevard.

An eyewitness said the suspects, both armed with handguns, jumped over the counter and the employees ran out of the store. The robbers took an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

A deputy was nearby and was on the scene in a few minutes. Witnesses reported the suspects ran out the back door of the business and into the apartment complex in the 15100 block of Kimberly Drive.

A perimeter was set up and the entire apartment complex was searched, but deputies were unable to locate the two suspects.

Both suspects were described as black males in their 30s. One was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, wearing all black clothing and shoes, and carrying a chrome semi-automatic handgun. The second suspect was described as 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with a thin build, wearing a grey sweatshirt with a decal on it, grey pants, and carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.
