Man tries to kidnap Glendale woman w/ her dog

LOS ANGELES According to the woman's account, the assault occurred in the 100 block of West Mountain Street.

The woman told police she was walking her dog when she noticed a man standing on the sidewalk talking on his cell phone.

Police said the woman continued walking her dog, and then retraced her steps. At that point the man grabbed her from behind and attempted to fondle her. He then carried her five to 10 feet before she began to scream. The man let her go and ran away.

The woman suffered a scratch on her chest during the /*assault*/.

The man was described as light-skinned, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He had dark hair and was wearing a light-colored dress shirt and gray or black pants.
