SANTA ANA, Calif. On Wednesday Santa Ana Police Detectives arrested the 17-year-old suspect at his house after he was identified from a fingerprint left at one of the crime scenes. They were able to recover and return some of the stolen property, including an expensive watch, which was found on the suspect at his arrest.
He was linked to 13 home burglaries in Santa Ana and three in Garden Grove. He apparently targeted homes with unlocked doors and windows and took jewelry and other items totaling more than $100,000.
