Neighbors said 4-year-old Kayshawn Denver and his sister 3-year-old Kimberly Denver were left in an apartment on the 300 block of West Queens Street at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses told police a woman left them there unattended, and the children did not know anyone at the complex.
