Artist combines food, art in London exhibit

LONDON The organizer, who goes by "Emmylou Cakehead", said she was fed up with people buying art just to collect it.

"So because the theme is fair, and because it represents fair trade sugar, this is the idea of a deer off a fairground carousel. This is all sculpted from margarine. The antlers are all sugar paste as well," said Cakehead.

That piece took 45 hours to make.

Some other works included a song by the band Futurehead, written out in cookies with black icing.

Another sculpture was made from butterscotch and vanilla sponges. It's entirely edible, except for the lights glowing inside the sculpture's head.
