Reward offered in Hollywood pot clinic murder

LOS ANGELES Los Angeles Police say on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at about 9:05 p.m., Ila Ali Packman was discovered with multiple stab wounds inside the clinic located in the 1600 block of North El Centro Avenue.

The suspect or suspects entered the clinic, stabbed the victim repeatedly, and left with about $3,000 worth of marijuana and the closed-circuit recording equipment.

Los Angeles Police, city leaders and relatives of Packman gathered Tuesday to urge anyone with possible leads in the case to step forward.

The reward is offered to whoever can provide information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of those responsible.
