Police said James Jones, 30, of Hesperia, approached the woman after her class, and arranged to meet her in the Von's shopping center at Bear Valley and Hesperia Road.
Authorities said they met, and the woman got into Jones' car. They said the suspect grabbed the woman's hair so she couldn't escape.
Jones reportedly drove to an unknown location, beat, raped, and robbed the victim.
Police said he later returned the victim to her car and threatened her to not report the /*crime*/.
Victorville police tracked down the suspect, and took him into custody with no further incident.
The victim was sent to a local hospital for a /*forensic*/ examination.
