O.C. man struck by car while running on fwy

LOS ANGELES The man was running across the freeway near Barham Boulevard just after midnight on Sunday when he was hit. It is unclear what the man was doing in traffic.

The impact fractured his skull and leg, and he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The 2000 Ford Explorer was driven by a 33-year-old woman from /*Canoga Park*/.

There is no word if she's facing any charges.

The northbound lanes at Barham Boulevard were temporarily closed for the investigation and are now back open.
