Jail time for Inland Empire child molestor

RANCHO CUCAMONGA A Rancho Cucamonga judge on Friday sentenced Clarence Gordon to 300 days in jail.

He ordered Gordon to serve the first 100 days of his sentence in San Bernardino County jail and the remainder of the sentence at home under house arrest. He has also been ordered to register as a sex offender.

Gordon was arrested June 18 after the boy told police Gordon molested him after inviting him to his house.

The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reports Gordon, a retired steelworker and married father of two, had asked the boy's mother if he could come over to help him move some furniture.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
