Recently, they woke up to Isis making some very strange sounds.
"Got up about 20 minutes later, walked in the living room, and there was eight, nine pennies lying on the floor," said Keelan.
A veterninarian took an x-ray and found 105 pennies in the /*puppy*/'s stomach. There was a real possibility that Isis could have died, so she was taken into surgery right away.
"Well, 105 is a little extreme, but unfortunately that is something we see from time to time. Dogs will eat most anything," said Dr. Kate Hoevenaar.
The surgery was a success. Isis is eating again, and is expected to make a full recovery.
