September 27, 2010 12:00:00 AM PDT
A protester was tackled by security when she confronted Arizona Sen. John McCain after a televised debate on Sunday night.

A member of McCain's security team tackled her to the ground when she got too close to the senator.

The woman was among a group of peace activists upset about McCain's stance on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

McCain left in a waiting SUV and was not harmed.

The protester was not arrested.
