'Harry Potter' author chats with Oprah

NEW YORK Rowling, who created the Harry Potter series, talked about her future plans with /*Oprah Winfrey*/ who she met in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Rowling talks about a possible future for the series and about how she coped with the fame that came with Harry Potter's popularity.

The books spawned a movie franchise and theme park. More than 400 million copies of the books starring the boy wizard have been sold worldwide.

Forbes magazine has ranked Rowling as one of the richest women in Britain, with an estimated wealth of $1 billion.

The interview will air Friday on ABC at 3 p.m.
