Supreme Court to reconsider Anna Nicole case

WASHINGTON The justices agreed on Tuesday to reconsider an appeals court ruling against Smith's estate.

Smith's husband, J. Howard Marshall, left nearly all of his money to his son. According to his will, he left nothing behind for Smith. Marshall's son died in 2006 and Smith died in 2008 of a drug overdose.

Smith's estate disputed the will, arguing that her husband had promised to leave her more than $300 million on top of the $7 million in cash and gifts given to her during their 14-month marriage.
