Rapper Kid Cudi pleads guilty in NY drug case

NEW YORK The rapper was arrested on June 11. According to police, they believed that Cudi had cocaine in his pocket.

The entertainer was told Tuesday by the Manhattan district attorney's office that the charge will be dismissed if he stays out of trouble for six months and serves two days of community service.

In 2009, the Cleveland native released his debut album, "Man on the Moon: The End of Day."

Cudi pleaded guilty last Friday through his lawyer. His next court date is March 23.
