Liza Minnelli falls ill, cancels concert

PORTLAND, Maine The mayor of Portland had hoped to give the singer a key to the city after her performance on Wednesday night. But Minnelli fell ill before her afternoon sound check and could not perform as scheduled.

The 64-year-old was going to sing her greatest hits and some of songs from her new CD "Confessions."

According to her spokesperson, Minnelli isn't seriously ill and will resume performing in the next few days.
