George's owners think he may be looking for love.
A neighbor found George down the street recently.
The tortoise is back at home, safe and sound.
"Everyone knows George," said his owner, Rafe Janikowski. "We get calls from the neighbors -- we usually don't even know he's gone -- and they'll say George is walking down the street."
George is a rescue tortoise.
The Janikowski's took him in after some neighbors lost their home to foreclosure.
