Pasadena scientists find ice on 2nd asteroid

PASADENA, Calif. As a result of the significant discovery, astronomers are now suggesting that water is more common in the universe than previously thought.

The same researchers discovered the first evidence of ice on an asteroid called 24 Thermis earlier in 2010.

Both ice-containing asteroids reside in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
