The dance floor was transformed into a circular stage and each team got two scores - one for performance and one for technical skill.

/*Jennifer Grey*/ and her partner, Derek Hough, topped the judge's leaderboard with an overall score of 56 out of 60. Their Argentine tango garnered the first 10's of the season.

"I was so scared before," said Grey. "I kept thinking 'I don't know if I can do this. I'm really scared.'"

/*Brandy*/ and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, made second place with their racy rumba.

"I definitely feel like I was connected and I feel when you're connected then everybody else can connect with you," she said.

Close behind were /*Audrina Patridge*/ and her partner Tony Dovoloni, who expressed pride in the progress the pair had made.

"She comes with no prior experience which I'm really happy about because I am trying to transform her into a dancer," he said.

/*Kyle Massey*/ and Lacey Schwimmer finished fourth with 40 points. Responding to judges' criticism that Massey was too concentrated on his steps to focus on his upper body, partner Schwimmer said he was getting one thing right at a time each week.

"Right now we have the frame of the puzzle," said Massey. "We just got to fill in all the little things."

Just one point behind them were /*Rick Fox*/ and Cheryl Burke, who said it was a rough week for her body.

"My ribs are bruised. I think I pulled a muscle here. My feet are just messed up. I've never been so beat up, but it's for a good cause," she said.

/*Florence Henderson*/ and her partner landed in sixth for a rumba judge Carrie Ann Inaba called "sexy, raunchy, dirty" and said left her a little scared. Henderson had her own theory as to why: "I think she was very turned on."

/*Kurt Warner*/ was turned off by his score, which left him ranking seventh with the judges.

"There's no question it's frustrating because you come out and you work this hard and you get scores that don't do you justice. It's difficult," lamented Warner.

/*Bristol Palin*/ had a difficult night, with her mom Sarah Palin looking both delighted and shocked as Bristol delivered a sexy performance culminating with her tearing the shirt from partner Mark Ballas.

"She was probably extremely shocked," said Bristol. "She's never seen me be sexy or anything like that but she was excited to be there and she was excited about the performance." But it was a sad situation for/* Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino*/ who came in last place, despite feeling that he had improved.
