L.A. Museum of the Holocaust opens doors

Extra space added allows more exhibits and artifacts to be displayed from the museum's archives.

The museum, founded in 1961, expects yearly visitors to reach more than 50,000 per year.

Artifacts include a concentration-camp uniform, a replica of a boxcar that transported Jews to death camps, and a model of a death camp.
