High-speed pursuit from Oxnard to Orange

ORANGE, Calif. According to the CHP, officers attempted to pull over the suspect for speeding on the eastbound 101 Freeway in Ventura County. The vehicle took off and reached speeds in excess of 100 mph on the freeway.

The vehicle sped into Los Angeles County, past Hollywood and through downtown L.A. on the 101, before transitioning onto the southbound 5 Freeway.

The vehicle left the freeway in Santa Ana and drove surface streets to a house in Orange. The driver pulled into the driveway then exited the vehicle and ran in the front door of the house.

Several officers pursued the female suspect on foot and chased her into the house. Officers forcibly removed her and carried her into custody.
