The victim told /*Santa Ana police*/ that he was walking near the store when he heard gunfire and realized he had been shot.
The 37-year-old was reportedly taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange with non life-threatening injuries.
Officers at the scene believed the shooting was gang-related.
