He was making his way back to his 2000 red Ford Expedition when a teenage female dressed in a high school uniform got into the car and drove away.
Police arrived at the scene around 8:30 a.m. and saturated the area with ground and air patrol. Within about 10 minutes, officers tracked down the car on 6th Street west of Esperanza Street. The baby was returned unharmed to his family.
The female suspect was nowhere to be found, even after police searched a nearby school.
