Driver shoots at passing car near Santa Paula

A woman and her family were driving westbound on the 18000 block of South Mountain Rd. near Santa Paula Sunday when a large white truck heading eastbound allegedly fired a gun at the car.

The woman heard an impact on her door and thought a dislodge rock had hit the car. When the woman reached her destination in Santa Paula, she found a hole in the driver's side door. She reported the event to the Ventura County Sheriff's Dept., who determined it was a gunshot hole in the door.

No one was injured in the incident.
