Man hurt in Lynwood deputy-involved shooting

LYNWOOD, Calif. Deputies said the shooting happened when they encountered a suspect during a burglary at a home on Abbott Rd. near Atlantic Ave. at about 9:45 a.m. Wed.

The suspect was taken to St. Francis Medical Center, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau. His condition was unknown.

No deputies were injured during the shooting.
