Body of slain LAPD officer arrives in U.S.

LOS ANGELES The body of Officer Joshua Cullins arrived at the Los Angeles International airport with an honors ceremony.

Cullins, 28, joined the /*Los Angeles Police Department*/ in July 2008.

He was serving with the Marines in Afghanistan as an explosives ordinance disposal officer.

Cullins was killed Oct. 18 after his unit was called in to check out a roadside bomb that had detonated. He was killed when a secondary device went off.
