Officer pleads not guilty to pool assault

INDIO, Calif. Officer John Fox Jr. faces felony charges of assault under the color of authority and attempted sexual penetration. He also faces charges of indecent exposure and sexual battery.

Fox posted $25,000 on bond and is due back in court November 30. He is currently on paid leave from his position with the police department.

On September 29, Fox allegedly stripped off his uniform while investigating a complaint of loud noise, jumped into the pool with the women and allegedly inappropriately touched one of them.
