Bird strikes Horizon plane on way to LAX

LOS ANGELES The plane was flying over Dodger Stadium at about 6,000 feet when the bird struck the plane's right wing and fuel tank. It managed to land safely at LAX.

There were no injuries but the damage to the plane was significant enough for the /*National Transportation Safety Board*/ (NTSB) to classify the incident as an accident.
