Man shot dead while pumping gas in Thermal

THERMAL, Calif. The /*shooting*/ occurred around 5 p.m. at 56491 Highway 111. The victim was an unidentified 47-year-old Hispanic man who was putting gas in his car when he was shot.

/*Riverside County Sheriff's Department*/ described the suspect as a medium-built Hispanic man around 5 feet 7 inches tall and ranging from 29 to 33 years old. He has short hair with a receding hairline.

Authorities said he was last seen driving a dark, mid-sized sedan with tinted windows.
