Vandals slash tires on 13 cars in Ventura

VENTURA, Calif. Ventura Police received a call about several cars with slashed tires Sunday morning. When officers arrived on scene, they found that 13 cars had their tires slashed and one car was keyed.

Officers contacted all of the victims and canvassed the area to search for eyewitnesses.

Authorities determined that the vandalism occurred around sometime between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Witnesses described one suspect as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
