Man shot at for confronting alleged taggers

Two men were arrested for shooting at a Good Samaritan who tried to stop them from tagging in La Puente on Sunday night.Investigators said the driver confronted the alleged graffiti vandals while sitting in his car near Main Street and Chatterton Avenue at 8:35 p.m. The suspects allegedly got in their car, chased him and fired several shots.

The driver was not hit.

The two men, identified as 21-year-old Edmond Gail and 26-year-old Raul Montesdeocala, were eventually arrested near the corner of Stimson Avenue and Stephens Street in the city of Industry.

Their bail is set at $250,000 each.
