Lawmaker caught on tape slapping peer in face

BUENOS AIRES An altercation between the two Argentine lawmakers started with a severe disagreement over the country's budget.

But somewhere along the line, one lawmaker apparently made a disparaging remark about the other lawmaker's husband, who is also a politician.

The woman was caught on tape giving the male lawmaker a hard, quick slap in the face.

The woman has apologized to the country for her inappropriate behavior, but not to the man she hit.
