The family of 5-year-old Aaron Shannon Jr., the little boy who was murdered in his yard on Halloween, was grateful for the gift.
"We are grateful for the support we received from the community and from around the world," said Shannon's grandfather, William Shannon.
The group will deliver turkey baskets to the families of children who were murdered in other parts of the city later this week.
