Charter school renamed in honor of governor

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. CHIME Charter School is now CHIME Institute's /*Schwarzenegger*/ Community School.

Schwarzenegger called it "a great honor."

"I love education. I love inclusiveness. This is what this school is all about, inclusiveness, bringing everyone together and I love charter schools," he said.

The school was renamed after the governor back in 2007, but the ceremony took place later because the school recently combined its middle and elementary schools on the same campus.

CHIME implements a co-teaching model where general and special education teachers work together to plan and instruct all students.
