Workouts lower risk of falling for seniors

The risk of falls is high for older adults and a fall can bring serious consequences, but researchers say a combination workout can help lower that risk. Experts found exercises that combine music and rhythmic movement curbed the rate of falling amongst seniors, with benefits increasing after six months.

Classes that involve music and any kind of footwork or rhythmic movement translated into fewer falls, especially amongst seniors with balance issues.
