The mother and father stopped to get gas. They walked away from the car for just a moment.
That's when the carjacker jumped in the car and took off.
The mother, who did not want to be identified, sprung into action.
"I ended up busting out the window with my elbow and lost my footing so I started getting dragged because I wouldn't let go of the car. And I just kept saying 'my baby, my baby, my baby,'" said the mother.
Her husband busted out another window. The carjacker then crashed the car and took off running.
The baby made it through the ordeal without a scratch. Her parents have minor injuries.
